IMPORTANT ADDED INFORMATION: Note that the film distributor “Film Classics” primarily distributed re-releases of major studios in the late 1940s and 1950s, but they DID produce a few of their own movies, including this one. This is the first release of this movie, and it is NOT a re-release. Also, note that this three-sheet was originally printed in 3 sections designed to overlap.
Finally, this is an ULTRA RARE movie poster for this movie. I can only find one example of this poster ever coming to any major auction house and it was this one. There may be others but I can’t find any available and no other past sales. Posters are rare for this movie and this three-sheet is Ultra Rare.
MEASURES: 41” x 81” (104 x 206 cm). (plus the linen border)
CONDITION: VERY GOOD. Before the restoration the poster was in GOOD condition. The sections were taped together at one time and there were also staple holes around the edges. There was an uneven tear in the bottom right corner extending into the credits that was repaired with paper tape from the back before the restoration was performed. Lumiere Poster Restoration did an outstanding job with the restoration and linenbacking and the poster is truly amazing! The first three images are the restored poster and the other photos are the pre-restoration photos.
