A Linenbacked and Rare Original Vintage Unfolded Half-Subway Movie Poster.
The Terminator, the classic 1984 James Cameron English/U.S. futuristic science fiction (sci-fi) cyborg action adventure horror thriller, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn, Paul Winfield, Lance Henrickson, and Bill Paxton.
ARTIST: Unknown.
MEASUREMENTS: 29 1/2” x 45 1/2” (75 x 116 cm), plus approx. 1/2” of excess linen around the borders.
CONDITION: VERY GOOD. The poster was never folded and was in Very Good condition PRIOR to restoration and linenbacking. The restoration was executed by Lumier Poster Restoration who did an excellent job! This poster is amazing!
Important Added Info: Note that around this time, studios were creating "subway posters" for many releases, which were 45" x 60" horizontally-shaped posters that were glued up on walls all over New York City (hence the name "subway poster"). They also made these smaller "subway" posters which measure approximately half the size of a regular "subway" poster (usually around 29" x 45"), and look like a one-sheet, only bigger, but they have information about one or more specific New York theaters then-currently showing that movie.
